WPWBOA Mission Statement:

The WPWBPOA, a member board of the NYSGBOA, services NYS Section 1 women's HS basketball.  The WPWBOA is dedicated to the education, training and continuous development of its members, while promoting fair play and good sportsmanship.  NYS women's basketball operates under NCAA Women's Basketball Rules and Points of Emphasis.  In addition, NYSGBOA also contributes to the rules and regulations that govern Section 1.

The WPWBOA is dedicated and strives to:

• Educate, train, develop and provide continuous instruction for women's basketball officials
• Promote the welfare of the game, its players, coaches, fans, schools and officials
• Maintain the highest standard of women's basketball officiating
• Have available at all times an adequate number of trained and certified officials
