Announcements:
Breast cancer awareness and Think Pink begins on February 1. For the month of February, all officials should be using pink whistles. If you need a pink whistle, please contact Theresa Carey.
Other news:
Nominations for the executive board positions of Secretary, Interpreter and Member-at-Large are due to the nominations committee by February 1, 2012.

• Seeding Meeting @ BOCES: Monday February 13, 2012
• Out-bracket Games (If Necessary): Wednesday February 15, 2012
• Sectionals, 1st Round: Friday February 17, 2012
• Sectionals, Quarterfinals: February 21-22, 2012
• Sectional Semi's/finals at Westchester County Center: February 27 thru March 4, 2012
- Mandatory Annual Business Meeting: April 23, 2012, 7pm, White Plains HS, All Purpose Room

WPWBOA Mission Statement:
The WPWBOA, a member board of the NYSGBOA services NY State Section One HS basketball. The WPWBOA is dedicated to the education, training and continuous development of its members, while promoting fair play and good sportsmanship. NYS girls basketball operates under the NCAA Women's Basketball Rules and Points of Emphasis. In addtion, NYSGBOA also contributes to the rules and regulations that govern Section One.
